The Arlington County Fair opened on Thursday with a parade which started at the Columbia Pike Library. This was the first year that there was a parade to open the fair. The parade proceeded down South. Highland onto South 2nd until it reached Thomas Jefferson Community Center at 3501 South 2nd Street, where the Fair is being held. This year is the 39th year of this annual fair. The Fair was be held from August 5 - August 9.
