Palooza

Village Center: Alcova Heights
Arlington County presented the third Palooza Arlington in Alcova Heights Park on Saturday April 11, from 1-4pm . The Park is on George Mason Drive less than a block from Columbia Pike. Ninth street (which divides the park into two) was closed to accommodate the stage and food trucks. It was a family affair with a large crowd. There were all kinds of activites which included live music. moon bounce, art truck and other art projects, field games, face painting along with a number of stalls with information about other services and activites within the county and much more. The live entertainment was The Sunshine Gang, Sarah Baumgarten, The Sultanas Troupe and The Blue Flames, unfortunately I missed The Sunshine Gang.
