Alice West Fleet Elementary School replaced Patrick Henry School but unfortunately not all of Patrick Henry's students were allowed to transfer to Fleet much to the dismay of many parents, who felt betrayed. Thomas Jefferson Middle School, Community Theatre and Community & SportsCenter are next door to Fleet both are on the corner of S. Old Glebe Road & S.Second Street.
