The building's design has earned the LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) .
In addition it has also been awarded a 2015 Urban Land Institute Washington Trends Award for Excellence in Housing Development.

Tenants were chosen by lottery. There were 3600 applicants for just 122 apartments.
Arlington Mill Residences is a four story building with 122. It is owned by APAH, Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing.

It is located at:
901 South Dinwiddie Street
right behind the Arlington Mill Community Center. The Center is accessable from a small courtyard which is between both buildings. Transportation is just one block away on Columbia Pike.
Underground Parking: There are steps leading down to Four Mile Run on the east side of the building.
